We salute the more than 300 Friends of the Garden, who have been garden members during these past 14 yrs!

The Tampa Heights Community Garden started with 17 individual gardens, 3 large communal gardens, a butterfly garden, and a pergola in 2011. What year did you garden with us? Were you with us when...

• We added 10 individual gardens every spring and fall until we had 75+ individual gardens in 2014? or we added the children's clubhouse, or the 12 blueberry bushes?
• We added the Greenhouse, the aquaponic garden, and the solar power plant in 2015 and 2016?
• We installed our new tool shed in 2017 and enlarged our compost operation in 2023?
•We installed our new sign, sponsored by Pergravis in 2018?
• We began purchasing "forever" boards (93% recycled plastic that will last for 300 years) in 2019!
• We held our first Garden to Table Dinner in 2019 - big success!
•We installed a shade cloth on the south side sitting area in 2020?
•We started raising funds to build the Education Pavilion in 2019. We began building the pavilion in July 2021 and completed it with the generous donation of services from EWI Construction in time for the 10th anniversary celebration in November, 2021?
•When we installed the Vego metal raised beds in 2023?
-When we establishe the native wildflower pollinator garden at the west entrance?
-When we rebuilt the pergola & planted 2 avocado trees in 2024?
